The Pineville Porcupines are a collegiate-level summer baseball team based out of Jack D. Hughes Stadium in Pineville, North Carolina. The Porcupines will participate in the Old North State League, a summer collegiate wood bat league consisting of 15 teams across the state. The Pineville Porcupines are coming back to the ONSL with a vengeance. After the inaugural season as the Mecklenburg Muscadines, the citizens of Pineville collectively voted on a new name for the town team. None other than the Porcupine mascot was selected, winning by a landslide.
