1st Annual Crazy Cornhole Games

Get ready for a night of fun! This isn't your typical cornhole tournament where the competition is intense and the skill levels of some teams means your chance of winning is likely zero. We've created a variety of cornhole games that will even out the odds for everyone. You will play five different games with scores based on a combination of luck and a little skill. Scroll down to see game details. 

We're pleased that OMB Ballantyne has provided their facility for the tournament. Get a partner or let us know ahead of time and we'll pair you with someone. The games begin at 6PM, but you can come earlier if you wish, grab a burger special and the beverage of your choice so you are all tuned up for the games! 

Winners will be determined based on your total combined score based on adding your score from each game together.

The price for this night of fun is only $60 per two person team. If you preregister and pay before June 15th, you save $10 and the price is only $50.

Crazy Cornhole Game Descriptions

All games to be played with teams of two people.

Blindfold Cornhole  – shorter distance 20 feet to hole, score of 11 wins . First team to get 11 points per game wins; or if not achieved then highest score after 5 rounds wins. Winning teams earn 10 pts, losing teams 5 pts.

Giddy Up and Go  – One designated person of the team is positioned on his/her hands and knees. The other person is the shooter who sits on the partner’s back and shoots from there. Shooter must maintain contact with down person's back at all times during shot.  20 feet to hole. Partners do not have to reverse. Winning teams earn 10 points, losing teams 5 pts.

Reverse Cornhole– Players must face backward from hole and throw over shoulder. Shorter distance 20 feet to hole. Game is 5 rounds maximum. First team to get 11 points per game wins; or if not achieved then highest score after 5 rounds of tosses wins. Winning teams earn 10 pts

Double Barrel Cornhole – Each player must hold and shoot two bags at a time. 30 feet to hole, Winning teams earn 10 pts, losing team five points.

Closest To The "Pin" - Two tosses by each team member at a cornhole that is 2x normal distance (~60 feet). If a bag lands on the board, it is measured then cleared before the next shot. Closest overall shot of the day wins 20 pts, 2nd wins 15 pts, 3rd wins 10 pts, 4th wins 5 pts, all other teams earn 0 pts. In case of tie, there will be a one bag each tie breaker.

If there are more than 16 teams, we will go to a two round system for all games except closest to the pin.  The winners of the first round will be paired against each other to compete again. The winners of the second round will get an additional five points, losers of the second round get no additional points.

Crazy Cornhole Games Winners:

For each event as described above, the winning team gets points, the losing team fewer points or no points. At the end of the contest, each team’s points scored after completing the five events will be collectively added to come up with a single point total. The team with the most points will be the tournament winner, and so forth. Refer to example tournament score sheet.
