Pineville Chamber Names Veterans Bridge Home as Honorary Charity for 5th Annual South Charlotte Golf Tournament

PINEVILLE, N.C. — The Pineville Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Veterans Bridge Home (VBH) has been selected as the honorary charity for the Chamber’s 5th Annual South Charlotte Golf Tournament.

Representatives from Veterans Bridge Home will be on-site throughout the tournament, giving participants an opportunity to learn more about the organization’s mission and the life-changing work it performs on behalf of veterans and their families throughout the Carolinas.

“We are delighted to have Veterans Bridge Home be a part of our 5th Annual Golf Tournament,” said Pamela Fender, Tournament Chairperson and Pineville Chamber Board Member. “The Chamber is committed to supporting our local charities, and in celebrating the 250th year of our country’s founding, supporting our veterans is a highly worthy cause.”

Veterans Bridge Home serves as a trusted resource for service members, veterans, and their families as they transition from military to civilian life. Through a network of hundreds of community partners, the organization connects veterans with employment opportunities, housing assistance, healthcare, mental health services, financial counseling, VA benefits, and other critical resources. By coordinating services rather than duplicating them, Veterans Bridge Home helps ensure that veterans receive personalized support tailored to their unique needs. Its mission is to connect, lead, and advocate so that service members, veterans, and their families can thrive.

The Pineville Chamber’s 5th Annual South Charlotte Golf Tournament is one of the Chamber’s premier networking and community events, bringing together Chamber members, business leaders, sponsors, and golfers for a day of friendly competition, relationship-building, and community support.
