In Chinese cooking, fire plays a vital role—especially in the high-heat technique known as “bao chao” or explosive stir-frying. This method uses intense flames to quickly cook ingredients, unlocking deep layers of flavor and producing the coveted “wok hei”, or breath of the wok—a smoky, slightly charred aroma that defines many classic dishes. This powerful tradition of cooking with fire drives our kitchen and our mission: to serve up food that’s vibrant, exciting, and full of soul.

Located just minutes from downtown Pineville, Carowinds, and Miller’s Flea Market off McIntyre Road, we offer a relaxed, modern dining experience in a stylish, Western-inspired space.
